Welcome New Year, Welcome Craig!

Happy Merry Fun New Year!

I want to take this special holiday to welcome a new special friend!
This is Craig:

Craig is one of my good GSA friends. I never get to see him anymore, because we are so terribly far away,
but whenever I think of GSA (which I so often do)
Craig is always somewhere in the mix.

It always amazed me how Craig instantly knew everyone as GSA. I don't think I ever saw him hanging out with the same person twice. He was on best friend terms with almost everyone,
and his smile is simply infectious.

And his acting,
wow.
He's a cartoon character! In the best possible sense,
his voice is just loud enough, and he seems to have full control of every movement and voice wave he throws out.

Plus, this photo of him exists,
a photo that I consider one of the most epic pictures of all time because it contains
two of the most epic men I know.

That grey haired beast of a man is Tim, everyone, for those of you not in the know.
And Tim and I are pretty much dating.

So I applaud you, Craig, for being
hilarious
suspiciously sweet
ginger without being too creepy
lovable in every respect
a really good friend, no matter the distance between us.

And because I am sticking true to my title as "High School Student", I must be off to wrap some Christmas presents for our family Christmas party that begins- TODAY!

Love you all! And Have a great New Year. Hopefully, because you are all very close to me in some way, that new year will be filled with adventures and good stories of which I am lucky enough to be a part.

I love you all,
Happy New Year!

I love it when my dad just makes dinner, and hands me a plate of food.

Yaay! Merry Christmas to me! merry Christmas to me!

I'm guessing you'll apologize me not doing a christmas'ey post, and if it really upsets you (chris or mom), then let me know by coming into the next room or calling me to let me know.

But I have great news! Today me and mommy splurged (and yes, a splurge for me is three dollars) on perfect lipstick.

And I found perfect lipstick!!!! Look!

plus, here's two pretties, and a song I completely love for you!

This song makes me think I'm a grown up, and I'm having lots of fun.
I'm getting more and more excited about college,
because isn't that supposed to be when your life starts?

love, rudi

WOW. Its been a while.

But here's my most recent activities:

1) School is out for Christmas! And the students held an unofficial ugly christmas sweater day,
and even though were not sure anyone actually told the teachers about it,
most of them participated anyway!
2) I went to Greeneville to stay with my loverly Truchi for a few days,
and OH WHAT FUN!
We had mexican food for breakfast, we had country food for breakfast, with some of the
BEST HOT CHOCOLATE I'VE EVER HAD,
and we had peanut butter & raspberry jam sandwiches for breakfast.
We watched Red-Eye, The Sing-Off, and Black Entertainment Television
a lot.
We kissed on Marley, and ignored Buster, and went for beautiful drives in the snowy country.
We went grocery shopping, had the best game night I've ever had, and drank so much
hot apple cider that I vomited.
We opened presents, and I got a ballerina tu-tu (Yessss!)and a copy of Flashdance (good movie)
and Truchi got a vest that fit perfectly.
Chris worked, and I shopped, and we spent his lunch breaks together.
and that is nice.
That is nice to do that.

And then, when I got home on Sunday night, mom had made Salmon for dinner,
and we did christmas.
and boy oh boy!!!
Did I ever luck out!
I got some seriously amazing things.
Like warm sweaters and adorable tights and awesome sockies,
and a terribly warm blanket, and the most beautiful necklace I have ever seen.
Plus, mom got me and Sadie baby a little air hockey table,
which is the cutest and most fun thing ever created,
and Sadie was kind of pitiful because
mom purposefully didn't buy Sadie way too much because we're pretty sure she'll be totally spoiled at the family Christmas,
and we could tell she knew something was screwy,
because she looked around for more presents.
a lot.
and we felt bad.
but she adorably said thank you for every present, and genuinely loved the things she got.

Hey, reader, I'm sorry for the fluctuating use of capital letters in this post,
and also for the generally boring way I distributed the information,

but it's late, and my internet connection is choppy, and for some reason, that ruins everything.

So hey, guess what, if you're reading this chances are I totally love you!
And have a merry merry christmas indeed!!

promises KEPT!

Well here's those photos I promised!
Because I realize,
that the point of blogs is posts
and that means posting stuff.

So I have alternated my photos with other people's photos.
you can tell which ones are mine because I am in them.
And the really awesome pictures were not taken by me.

So enjoy!

I just really especially love this dress

Yes, and apparently I suddenly and completely have friends!
And we didn't plan this. We're just all followers...

all five of us wore flannel plaid shirts today!

MAHAHMHMAHAHA

I'm very happy, because tonight I made a paper chain,
and I plan on making even more of those paper chains to-morrow.

goodnight, dear friends,
for I know that it is you.

heeehehehehehehe

news coming soon, and pictures!
Pictures that I took!

Extra special specialties!

So sorry about the neglect,
but if it makes you feel any better,
I've barely had time to change my own sheets.

more soon,
I pinky promise.

I am in the best of moods!

Not because I helped break the invaluable and only receipt printer at work tonight,

not because I've been coming home to wipe up piles of poopie from the small animal currently living in my kitchen,

and not because I then proceed to wipe up the mess it makes because every time I enter the room the dog pisses in excitement.

not because I haven't seen my family (except my mom and little sister for twenty minutes after school) for the past two days.
(at all)

and not because I just came back from the first and last performance of my play that no one came to,

and not because I walked in the kitchen thinking, "I wish I had time to make cookies,"
and turned around to find a PAN FULL OF BROWNIES!
that upon further inspection were all burnt and/or rock solid.

and not because I just burnt my mouth on some tea,
no.
That is not why I am in a good mood.

But hulu.com now has Mystery Science Theater 3000 episodes!!!!!!!

AHHH!!!!

Now time for some Glee :)

I asked a few questions on
mysterygoogle.com

and I wonder,
Will they be answered?

I am super duper nervous,
cause tomorrow I find out the results of my college match through Questbridge,
which means I am finding out which Ivy-League college I will be attending for free (if any, another scary but possible result of tomorrow's email).
And I'mmabout to pee myself.

But I think I'll work on this philosophy paper due instead....
but in the meantime! Here's a list of awesome-est-st's:

I have no idea how any of this happened tonight.

Let's just leave it at this:

a man I served coffee to literally once came into my house

asked me where my baby sister was,

opened my fridge,

and we had an epic black mamba snake sock puppet battle.

sometimes, I seriously love my life.

I had such a great day!

Which is a bit odd, because the second I woke up (and after a shower) I went to work,

(I work in this awesome castle)

and now at 6:30 I am just coming home from that work.
And it was great!
I love gettin stuff done, you know?
For some reason I couldn't stop singing today,

and we were kinda busy-ish in a way that I'm always doing something,
like making fancy whippey cream treats and making sloppy samiches.
Plus I finally tried that Pumpkin Cheesecake I've been meaning to try...
and wow.

Plus I got some lotion that smells like pumpkin pie,
and as we all know,
I lumme some Punkun Pie.
I also kept thinking about last night,

and Harry Potter,

and Two Headed Roommates,

and Organic Broccoli,

and Power Drills,

and plus also ph levels.
(I refuse to explain that last one)

How was your day?

Also, if you scroll down to the next post,
listen to "Parentheses",
which I think is absolutely my new favorite song.
(for now)

happy thanksgiving!

We began this morning by setting the stove on fire :)
And hopefully the pumpkin mousse I tried to make (twice, ugh)
will come out right.
The butter I accidentally made while "whipping the cream" turned out pretty good, though,
Michaela, mom, and I ate some on toast last night while my stepfather Ben taught us how to play poker.
That was awesome,
because I won.

I'm getting to excited for Thanksgiving!! We always go to our friend's the Pushard's house to eat, and Mrs. Colette Pushard is probably the number one cook of all time
(except maybe my boyfriend's mom Sue- wow)

I've been editing pictures on flickr,
which to all you photo camera people is laughable,
but I'm actually really impressed with the way some of my not so good pictures are
turning out.
Here's a few fine examples.

My favorite, though, has to be the one of David, my german exchange student from last year, who let me and Michaela dress him up and take pictures.
What a keeper.
Good night, and have a Happy Thanksgiving!!
