I found the cutest new shop! It's time like these, which occur oh-so-often, that I wish I had a kitchen and, likewise, a kitchen table to use all this stuff in.

Hope you enjoyed House 8810!
Oh, and just a little heads-up to The Boyfriend, mom says she totally wants that umbrella.

Easy Breezy Treasure Sees-me

Burnt Pizza, First-weekend-of-June Treasure hunting with mom, hammock, family photos, stretching, yawning cats, breeze.

Sadie and our cat Ducah jumped in the hammock with me!

What a nice day! And I can't WAIT to show you what I found in a yard sale this morning!

But for now, take a look at what I found on Etsy this morning:

Found this fabric on citycraftonline. Wouldn't it make a neat-o mini dress? Oohhh with a white top....
I want to learn how to sew this next year. I've been looking around for a sewing machine to use this summer and hopefully take back to the dorm once school starts again. My friend Chloe makes dresses often and I'm pretty sure she needs to share her know-how with me.

Oh, and for all you not-my-mom-or-boyfrienders out there, my first year of school is OV-ER and I am so so happy about that. College is fun and all that, but I really worked my ass off this year. I'm hoping for a summer of art, reading, and working for actual payment. I applied at Starbucks yesterday, we'll see how that goes :)

I'm switching majors from Theatre to Graphic Design and Creative Writing. So exciting!! Hopefully my new knowledge will help me become a better blogger. That's always the goal, right?

Here's a few finds from designspongeonline.com that I pulled today. I'm trying to build up an even bigger collection of inspiration for my oncoming semester in the big-bad design world. Lord I'm excited!

I have such hair envy lately.
Actually, to be quite honest, I've been having a lot of everything envy these days.
It's summertime, when girls are supposed to be pretty and glittery,
but I feel completely opposite of that. My legs are gross and my hair is gross and my skin is nasty,
and more and more and more.
I'm getting nervous about going to a girl's school because everyone will be so pretty,
and I'm definitely one to compare myself to other people.
Or maybe I just need a haircut and to put on a cute outfit.
This whole big deal graduation thing is bringing out all the worst qualities in me. I'm not looking forward to wearing a pizza box on my head. But I am looking forward to hiding a chopstick in my graduation robe and pretending to be Harry Potter.
Most def.

BY THE WAY:
WOAH Hello all you new people! I've had ten followers for a year, and now all of a sudden,
ten more of you show up!
I don't know how you found me,
or why you stayed,
but I'm glad to meet you all anyway!!

I promise I'll start posting more,
and I'll also stop telling you all my sob stories.

I found this on dori the giant
hers is one of my favorite new blogs,
although I don't completely understand it yet,
I'm absolutely fascinated by it.

Good work Dori,
I'm pro-you.

Oh Sweet Beautious Shoes

Awww man,

So maybe it's because I've spent the last 48 hours thinking about nothing but clothes,
(my TeenVogue came in the mail and I spent part of the day being interviewed about my closet,
talking about Project Runway,
and getting really excited about the next chance I'll have to play dress up in my room...)

but I find it necessary to post today about
shoes.
Which I'm not usually that into, since I wear the same black flats
every day
But I swear when I get richer and semi famous
I will own these.
All of these.

I think I may be a little too Lolita for my own good.

....dang. Now back to answering questions about the history of relationships between Puritains and
the Native Americans....
