4th of July Party, sans Rudi

Since I don't have photos of my own 4th of July holiday,
which consisted of poolside lounging, rib-eating, and dancing with the Ecuadorian family who lives behind Mario's house at their pig roast. Why do I not have pictures of these amazing adventures? Because Yes.

So look at this post from From Me To You instead! It seriously made my night (that and the cake batter ice cream I just had) and I can't even tell you how flustered I am to know that this event happened the weekend I arrived here in Connecticut, really close to where it happened in Manhattan. It just gets my giggly goat. Giggly. Goat.

I hope you enjoy the rest of the photos as much as I did,
because they reminded me how pretty life can be sometimes.

My Little Baby

So the vet visit went well,
and the doc told me all my baby needed was a little dose here and there until she's up and running again.
So I give her a tiny syringe of yellow yucky,
and wake up every 2 hours to feed and cuddle with her.

She started drinking from the bottle again,
and fell asleep on a full, happy belly,
but my poor little Little didn't wake up again.

But I'm just happy I had her for what little time I did,
and based on her frequent purring and whining to be cuddled all the time,
I think she was happy about that, too.

Bing Bing Fing!

Two weeks ago I rescued a baby kitty kitty  from the animal shelter, and we named her Bing Bing Fing.

I. Love. My kitty. She's the cuddliest little kitter cat ever and her little squeak-meow is the most adorable little sound.

She's been growing wonderfully and has started exploring her little world more and more,
but this morning she wasn't doing too well, and I'm taking her to the vet today. She's not eating, and her little eyes look so sleepy. Not to mention she's not crawling around exploring like usual...

Wish me luck, I really hope my little baby is going to be okay.

Easy Breezy Treasure Sees-me

Burnt Pizza, First-weekend-of-June Treasure hunting with mom, hammock, family photos, stretching, yawning cats, breeze.

Sadie and our cat Ducah jumped in the hammock with me!

What a nice day! And I can't WAIT to show you what I found in a yard sale this morning!

But for now, take a look at what I found on Etsy this morning:

I have two babies!!!

Mom and I suddenly decided to go on Craigslist and find some kitties. We've been looking for a good cat for a few weeks, and we drove up the road a while until we found this pile of beautiful, friendly, sweet-as-sugar kittens!!
It's been an absolutely adorable day.

Here they are at home with me. They like to nap on my computer desk :)

I want to name them Basil and Gatsby, but Ben thinks those are stupid.
I think those names match perfectly.
But I'm kinda a weirdo.
What would YOU all name these kitties? Maybe your input will help change Ben's mind...

I have some cuddling to do. See you later.

It's one of those days! Where I have time! And I am lucky enough to find AWESOME STUFF!
I'm gonna share it with you!!!

Sorry for the language. I just think this is the funniest show in the world.
I really want a white backpack like this one.

And I'm feeling pretty good about myself and my future.
Because a Death Cab for Cutie song just came on the radio,
and I remember in the past having trouble listening to their music because it always made me sad-
it reminded me of a certain person.
But today I can't remember who that person was...

I'm taking that as a very, very good sign.

Happy Valentines Day!!
How was everyone's weekend? Mine was goood.
I picked up Chris in Knoxville, and we
DIDN'T have reservations at a nice restaurant like he promised
("They were all full up when I called! I swear!")
but we DID get Bubble teas ( my new favorite!!) at the Cereal Bar and
had delicious greasy hamburgers and huge thick fries from Shelley, Idaho.
And that was amazing.
Of course, over our weekend of virtually doing nothing
(and yet having time to do nothing, either)
but watch movies and spend money,
we once again failed to do as we promised to each other and forgot to take pictures.
Except for two!!!
So here they are!!

This week my mom is in New Orleans with our neighbor Sam,

so me and Benny have custody of the baby!!

And it's potty training time...

Wish us luck!

For one, I am tired of checking my email hoping for some scholarship-related news from Stephens
and finding my email completely empty of new letters.

Also, my brain is tired, because I took the ACT today again,
and I never, ever want to see a science chart/graph ever again.
My heart has been thus broken.

Bascially,

And also these two things:

That's right.
A Box of Cupcakes. And a kitty.

What do you need?

Somehow I found this website out of my own accord.
And it made me so happy.

I am super duper nervous,
cause tomorrow I find out the results of my college match through Questbridge,
which means I am finding out which Ivy-League college I will be attending for free (if any, another scary but possible result of tomorrow's email).
And I'mmabout to pee myself.

But I think I'll work on this philosophy paper due instead....
but in the meantime! Here's a list of awesome-est-st's:
