Showing posts with label theater. Show all posts

Hey guys. I've got some
photos of the set I helped build
for All My Sons.

See the little branches hanging from the top? I thought that was a really great touch.

I'm seriously proud of this set- everyone did such a wonderful job on it. A student here, Brandon, designed the set and another student Emily designed all the lights. And, as you can see, they really did an exceptional job.

The show itself was really good, too. It's probably one of the best works of theater I've seen, although my experience with shows is relatively limited compared to most other people here, but everyone else seems very satisfied with the production as well.

But in a week we'll tear this baby down. Ahhh the theater.

It's almost my birthday!!
Like, tomorrow!!

But we've been celebrating all weekend, which has been an absolute blast.

We went to pick up Chris in Knoxville and went to a cupcake bakery while we were down there,
went to forever 21 and bought an awesome pirate shirt!
(photo later, maybe)
And also got some blue tights (that I love love love)

and we ate dinner at Red Robin! Which was awesome because my burger was free,
and I got an ice cream sundae,
and we tipped our waiter with a tuxedo cupcake!

And later in the weekend, me and Chris and Daniella
( my suddenly new German exchange student-
ohhhh surprises when you're mom's in charge!)
saw Where the Wild Things Are
((awesomescaryawesome))

went to a play in London with Patrick,
