You Smell of Apples Headbands!

"Check out this out!", as baby Sadie would say. I finally started up my Etsy shop!
Here's the Link! Shop You Smell of Apples!

YAY! YAY! YAY!
Check me out!

(can I just mention how long it's been since I've used the 'accomplishment' tag? A while.)

After panicking over my math homework,
which basically reinforced my already stone-set belief that I will never be able to own anything nice in the 'real world' or live in anything other than near poverty,
I decided to gawk and whimper over beautiful things that I will never own but always want to.

All from my favorite, Anthropologie.

Online window shopping always depresses me.

Tenny-Sea

Spent two days in Greeneville with the boyfriend,
and we were so proud after making a successful at-home dinner date of shish kabobs, local new potatoes, and cream corn.
Fancy eclairs and bear claws from Peggy Ann's Bakery for dessert. :)

And now, back at home, I have a new workspace for my blogging and art-ing!

Also, wish me a big hunk of good luck for tomorrow morning- I have a job interview at a Greek restaurant! I need a job really bad, so send me some good vibes!

We have a good time. :)
I wish being unemployed and home for summer meant spending lots of time having adventures together,
but alas.
I also miss my dorm room, and having a place to put all my crap.
Cross your fingers that I figure out that job thing pretty soon. I've applied all over, and now it's up to them! All those bosses must just be oblivious to how totally adorable and personable I am.

I'm totally nerding out these days.

And by the way, I've been posting here a lot lately. It's just hard having two blogs.

Two weeks ago Truchi visited me at school out in Missouri,
and after a very upsetting beginning of the week with my family in KY,
we ended up having a considerably nice time back at school.

It's just nice to have someone hang out with you, even if you are being sad and not very fun.

And now it's my spring break,
pictures of my week later.

The only thing that matters

That the past is our future.
The one we've never seen before.

I had a very inspirational start to the day late late last night. Pandora was hitting every button just right, and I woke up feeling energized and ended up having a very, very good day.

It's been a good day to be a Rudi.

Ohhh I like this so much better.
It's so clean.

Ohhh yuck.

What a wonderful week, crushed by a terrible, terrible ending.

You all may (hopefully?) have noticed my lack of, well, anything in the blog world this past week or so
(dare I say two weeks? Surely not!)
because I've been savoring my last week with Chris.

That's right- last week. Until Thanksgiving, or maybe Christmas break.
We've had a really great week, half in his town and half in mine, and I really can't complain about a single thing- except that our week had to end.

I do realize this is way, overly mushy, and that my mother/grandma/aunt/(dad?) who have read this blog are currently rolling their eyes and getting icky slimy feelings in their stomachs. But I'm okay with that.
I just miss my boyfriend. He's just way fun.

Plus Sadie will miss him. She told me that they're best friends.
Can you argue with that?

So I should be back into the world of the internet now, instead of the world of real life.

Here's a juicy tidbit for you, though.
When I was in Tennessee with Truchi we went to see a concert.
These guys:
Of Montreal, for those poor souls who are currently un-informed

and this little lady happened to be there

It's Janelle Monae!! For reall!!!

and they sang this!

And it made me and Truchi's week cooler- although it was near perfect to begin with anyway.

Tune in tomorrow, when I tell you about my disgusting internet discovery. I'll give you a clue- it has to do with eyeliner, plastic bags, and severe, society-crippling amounts of vanity.

Wasn't that just so sweet of them?

I've been more or less absent from the internet this week,
my boy came for a visit
and we spent our time playing super Nintendo, making forts with baby Sadie, and watching mock-umentaries like Chalk and A Mighty Wind- plus Chris tried his hardest to make me like Seinfeld (he was horribly unsuccessful)

Sadie in the sink, holding the Holy Grail of bath toys.

And now,
(and this is so exciting)
I am preparing for a little roadtrip to Louisville, KY to see some old acting friends,
several of whom I haven't seen in over a year or so.
I should actually have pictures,
and good ones at that!

Have a good weekend! What are your plans?

Stupid Boyfriend

LAWL.

Hijacked.

I hope rudi doesn't get mad, but I needed a break from flying Sadie around the house in a bucket.  It's really hot in here and I've been swinging this beebee around for about an hour now.

Good thing rudi fixed some delicious gravy and some...biscuits for breakfast.  Just kidding ru, the biscuits were good too!

Anyhow I need to put my garbage basket space helmet on and do a few more laps.

-Truch

I graduated last night!!

My mommy put this sign in the yard before I left. She lured me out there reluctantly to see it, "Rudi, honey, I need you to do some math for me..."
Tricky tricky momma!

I'll put up more pictures for those of you who are family to admire (hey Aunt Courtney!)
later. I'm so totally pooped- but at least I'm starting my Real Life right! I woke up at 7 AM and GOT TO WORK.
Work being checking my email and editing photos from last night, but still.
I'm off to eat breakfast with my dad!

This past weekend was an especially great one.
There was a huge sale at the Cracker Barrel of all places, and I snatched up two really nice scarves, a sun hat, snake pick-up-sticks, and an airplane fork for Truchi for ten bucks.

Then I went to Greeneville, and that always means a good time.
Chris and I had the best dinner Saturday at Chihuahuas, our favorite Mexican restaraunt.
We ate some delicious food (and not so delicious coffee) outside on the patio with the fairy lights,
and one of the owners toddler sons was driving in the gravel around the building
in one of those little battery powered cars all night, off-roading and getting into mini-car wrecks.
It was the cutest thing we'd ever seen,
plus the most amazing chimichanga I've ever eaten.

On Sunday we got sun burnt and sun dazed at the Iris Festival.

These two dogs were too much to handle. That little one could live in the St.'s eye socket.
This is Foxxy, Chris's boyfriend. This photo is a good prediction of what their honeymoon will be like.

This uncharacteristically sexy rabbit was my favorite thing at the Wood Carving Contest
Mags, Chris's amazing grandmother :) We're pen pals.
Truchi in his birthday presents!! Isn't he handsome?

And although I hate having to use it,
the road that leads me from Chris's town to mine is so pretty. It always takes the edge off of leaving.
It's the perfect mixture of nature and general filth.

And this is totally off topic, but I forgot to show you this amazing house
near my aunt and uncle's in North Carolina.
It might be my dream home.

Truchi will be leaving this Saturday for France.
I'll miss talking to him every day
after 9 PM and on weekends, unless he calls the house phone ;)
