I just think the bird's hipster necklace is hilarious.
Who are the people who own chairs and pillows and cats like this? And WHY are they not my friends? 

 

Can you tell I'm going through a yellow-blue-cat phase? 
Everything I see with these colors is BEAUTIFUL.
Today I got a nice letter in the mail from Stephens College,
which happens to be the awesomest college on the planet,
informing me of my room number and roommate!
I'm really excited, because I met my roommate previously-
she's an adorable girl from Yonkers, New York with a purple stripe in her hair and (apparently) no Facebook page. 

I really hope she agrees with me about Blue, Gray, and Yellow....
but only time will tell :)
What are your all's favorite colors combos? I'm such a design freak this year- I don't know WHAT has gotten into me!

Thanks for your suggestions for Kitty names everyone!
The family has decided on a collaboration. It's a new tradition that my little sister Sadie names the cats,
but her two names, "Deek" and "Mak" were a little uninspired,
so we tacked on a little to amp up the kitties' adorable levels.
The darker kitty is Mak Gatsby, and the lighter kitty is Deek Estella 
(after a marathon racer Ben looked up to as a child).
I agreed, because Gatsby is just an awesome name for a kitty.
(Plus this leaves the names Basil, MacDuff, Atticus, and Mr. Darcy for my own future babies).
I'm all for cooperation. Here's a picture of some cute stuff.

I have two babies!!!


Mom and I suddenly decided to go on Craigslist and find some kitties. We've been looking for a good cat for a few weeks, and we drove up the road a while until we found this pile of beautiful, friendly, sweet-as-sugar kittens!!
It's been an absolutely adorable day.

I want to name them Basil and Gatsby, but Ben thinks those are stupid.
I think those names match perfectly.
But I'm kinda a weirdo.
What would YOU all name these kitties? Maybe your input will help change Ben's mind...

I still feel the urge to get a bodysuit or two.
I want all of these for my boy!
 

 After seeing everyone else re-design and tweak their blogs...I think I'm coming down with a change-cold...
I'm not too crazy about my current layout right now- but then again I am hardly ever satisfied.

Good god I wish I was beautiful

I really want to do this
I've spent some time online.
As you can tell.
Mostly just looking at The Dainty Squid's tumblr page.
Most (maybe all?) of these photos are from it. I can't get enough of her style.
Here's some more:
I loved  this movie, I love the actress, and I love everything else in this photo  



The rest of the photos are from me last weekend. 
My town had a hillbilly dance (did I already tell you this?)
My group of people ended up being 1) The only ones in costume and 2) The only people who danced.
The band was amazing though- as always.


I'm so proud to say that this is my family.
