Calendar Love

I'm getting antsy about beginning another semester in the graphic design world, and my excitement has sent me on a search for calendars and planners to start my new year off with a big productive bang.

It's gearing up to be a really exciting semester. A week or two ago I interviewed with a local marketing and advertising company in town, and I earned a great internship position. I'll be helping them re-evaluate their current directions and tactics, and re-branding their company while I'm at it! I can't tell you how completely excited I am about this opportunity, and what better way to jump into a big organization/design project than keeping myself organized with a sharply designed planner or calendar?

I'm crushing super hard on this one, from Julia.

So sweet :)

I found the cutest new shop! It's time like these, which occur oh-so-often, that I wish I had a kitchen and, likewise, a kitchen table to use all this stuff in.

Hope you enjoyed House 8810!
Oh, and just a little heads-up to The Boyfriend, mom says she totally wants that umbrella.

That the past is our future.
The one we've never seen before.

I'm in the midst of developing a big, big crush on the lady.

Just in case you forgot exactly why you love Jim Henson,
watch this. You'll remember.

It really picks up at about 3:30- it's pure genius after that!

It's the perfect way to celebrate my 300th post!!

Oh hey guys.

It's just me,
admiring the finer things in life.

I've decided to stop being not-fun, and start posting like I used to.
It's oh-so-true that my workload has SUDDENLY TRIPLED from nothing to LOTSo'things,
but I've decided that really is no excuse for not wasting my time on the computer sharing pictures and new songs I find/love with ten (TEN! WAHOO! Welcome Brittany!) like-minded internet addicts.

Ohh, love.

So here. I'm back, and I missed you.

(this photo makes me want to grow my hair back out really bad)

I'm just really diggin the whole pink dress fairy tale thing right now...

And I really want to do this in my dorm room
providing my room mate is as awesome or non-existent as I've imagined her to be...

(thank you kate-maggie, and I love your blog by the way,
but I do disagree with your choice in coffee distributors- bleck!)

I really miss Chris today.
I wish we could go for a drive.

For one, I am tired of checking my email hoping for some scholarship-related news from Stephens
and finding my email completely empty of new letters.

Also, my brain is tired, because I took the ACT today again,
and I never, ever want to see a science chart/graph ever again.
My heart has been thus broken.

Bascially,

And also these two things:

That's right.
A Box of Cupcakes. And a kitty.

What do you need?

Hey!

I've got a few photos for you from my adventures,
but unfortunately,
because my camera is very heavy, I am forgetful, and I am a mediocre blogger,
I forgot my camera in the car for most of the trip.

But I did manage to get a few shots that turned out half decent!

On the long journey me and Mom and Mel got mustachios and lips

One of my favorite stores in Columbia is Maude V.
I bought a shirt and sweater,
and then a skirt,
and I didn't even feel bad for spending so much moolahs because everything was
so. beautiful.
I'll take a picture of my new clothses in a minute...

And also Mel looked adorable all weekend,
and met a new friend named Eric IMMEDIATELY
who was totally awesome and currently shooting a short film.

And my favorite-est Uncle Mike came to visit us for the day!!!!
Exporing the town and being congenial to college administrators is so much more fun/ easy with him around backing me up.
I seriously love this man.

I met a lot of really amazing girls this weekend, too,
and I didn't not like a single person I met.

The college was amazing, the town was full of adventure, and
I want to be a Stephens girl.
