Canoe

I've come across another great online shop. Canoe is the perfect mix of Dainty Squid hipster and Ron Swanson from my favorite show Parks and Recreation.

If my life was only filled with deliciously simple and efficient Canoe stuff, I feel like I'd get so much done.

The future is looking so clean and tidy.

We have a good time. :)
I wish being unemployed and home for summer meant spending lots of time having adventures together,
but alas.
I also miss my dorm room, and having a place to put all my crap.
Cross your fingers that I figure out that job thing pretty soon. I've applied all over, and now it's up to them! All those bosses must just be oblivious to how totally adorable and personable I am.

Two weeks ago Truchi visited me at school out in Missouri,
and after a very upsetting beginning of the week with my family in KY,
we ended up having a considerably nice time back at school.

It's just nice to have someone hang out with you, even if you are being sad and not very fun.

And now it's my spring break,
pictures of my week later.

I had a very inspirational start to the day late late last night. Pandora was hitting every button just right, and I woke up feeling energized and ended up having a very, very good day.

It's been a good day to be a Rudi.

Today I'm babysitting little Sadie,
a day so far full of cereal and cartoons, fuzzy pajamas and hot tea.

I've been channeling my attention between Martha Speaks and, for some reason, really awesome wedding invitations from Printable Press

Aren't those great? I found them through the Bleubird blog- which is, by the way, my favorite new blog find. Her family is just the cutest:

I need to get my own life...

Cupcakes for breakfast!!!

In celebration of my wonderful cupcake baking success
(homemade vanilla icing with purple sprinkles, by the way)
I went searching for two of my favorite cupcake pictures.

And do you know why I attempted to brave our rust old oven that burns everything that is placed inside it's treacherous mouth?

Because yesterday I got a call from my man Xander,
my admissions counselor at Stephens College,
and he told me I was accepted into his school,
and then he gave me a big fat honors scholarship.

So I got a littly giddy! And decided to make cupcakes.
And guess what?
(please forgive my ugly face and gross hair and focus on the cuppy cakes)
Delicious!
Delicious!

They're not very pretty, but they tasted like heaven.

Also, I want to give a great hello to a very good friend of mine,
Anonymous.

This last comment you posted made me choke a little on a big bite of cupcake breakfast "so long story short take a bath in some sort of ultra soft warm noodles. like spaghetti, or tortellinie. worst case scenarior you bring some sauce and you have a meal. but i bet it would make your leg feel better, oh and it will make you warm! win-win"

I appreciate this, Mr. or Ms. Anonymous.
Thank you for making me laugh.

I leave you all with a very epic photo,
one that I think defines 'fun' wholly.

I took some more pictures!
I was so happy about this little mini-photo shoot,
because all I wanted was a single photo,
and a single photo I got!!

Look, enjoy, and tell me what you think!!

JohnBowe!

And I would like to give a big OH EM GEE to my dear friend JohnBowe,
who has just decided to officially follow my little blog.
When I think of JohnBowe, I think of these three things:

It's so nice to know that pay attention to the things I say and do, JohnBowe.
Welcome, it's good to have you here.
